Counting Down The Days

Walking down the street, looking at the faces

Seeing just a few more smiles

Storefront windows getting decorated

No, it won't be long now

All the cafés making peppermint lattes

You can make mine a double

'Cause it's been a grind, but I see

Christmas lights at the end of the tunnel

And we're counting down the days

'Til the world's a better place

I can already feel the joy and the peace

Just knowing it's on its way

And we're counting down the days

'Til it's Christmas

Shoppers are shopping, the temperature's dropping

They're saying this year it could snow

There's parties and pageants, a little more traffic

'Cause everyone's traveling home

And we're counting down the days, it's almost here

Yeah, the world's a better place this time of year

I can already feel the joy and the peace

Just knowing it's on its way

And we're counting down the days

'Til it's Christmas

It's holly and wreaths, it's Christmas trees

And it's kids singing "Jingle Bells"

I wait all year for this right here

Count down the months until

And we're counting down the days, it's almost here

Yeah, the world's a better place this time of year

I can already feel the joy and the peace

Just knowing it's on its way

And we're counting down the days

'Til it's Christmas

Ten

Nine

Eight

Seven

Six

Five, four, three, two, one

Christmas!
