Greatest Gift

Every Christmas morning, daddy tell us stories

To the boys and girls

By the Bethlehem manger, met a tiny savior

Sent to save the world

Do we ever really stop and think

Just what Christmas means

It's not about the going to see Santa

Stockings on the memo or candy case

It's not about the hustle and the bustle

Getting up real early on Christmas day

It's not about an ever green tree

Or a thousand twinkling lights

It's about the greatest gift

That ever came to life

God loved us so much, He sent His only son

And it's his birthday that we should celebrate

As reason number one

It's not about the reindeer on the roof

All of neighborhoods or winter snow

It's not about opening all those presents

All the bolts and ribbons on mistletoe

It's not about an ever green tree

Or a thousand twinkling lights

It's about the greatest gift

That ever came to life

Yeah, Jesus is the greatest gift

That ever came to life
