Way To Rome

We didn't know the distance between our hearts and the message

And if finding out, would even make a change

We tried to reach our limits, without thinking bout the later

Without knowing if we even had a chance

And several times we noticed, with believin' and by fighting

Every single try would even take our fear

If that seed turned into timber and that timber to a boat

Would we by sailing it, take course to something true?

Even though we tried to let 'em know

They didn't know, that we were on our way to rome

And even though they made us feel unsure

Yeah we were bound, to take our dream and hit the road

Even though we went our separate ways

The devil tried to chain our souls

We didn't know

We didn't know

That in the end

We meet in rome

All those miles we walked on roads alone

Yeah*all those friends we left at home

We didn't know

We didn't know

That in the end

We meet in rome

Holding on to stories while were fighting with our worries

They say, every fucked up trial comes to an end

If those days turn into hours and those hours into minutes

Could those miles into meters and then steps

Easy go

Mind that stone

One step for your longing soul

And another one towards your call

Even though

We both know

S'gonna take a devil'a'time

To walk the miles and reach your rome

Even though we tried to let 'em know

We didn't know, that we were on our way to Rome

And even though they made us feel unsure

Yeah we were bound, to take our dream and hit the road

Even though we tried to let 'em know

They didn't know, that we were on our way to Rome

And event hough they made us feel unsure

Yeah we were bound, to take our dream and hit the road
