One Day

One day, that's what I always told my mama

Every time, she'd ask me, "When you gonna bring one home?"

Then one thing led to another ice-cold Corona

On a Thursday night in a little bar I never go

Right outta the blue neon

Singin' next to me, sittin' next to you

Forever didn't seem so far away

Who knew my one-day looks like

Brown eyes, brown hair, plaid skirt, tall boots

Skinny margarita in a dive bar, booth

Sounds like, "Oh my God, I love this song"

Got me like, "I do too"

Yeah, one day was way down the line

I was really gonna take my time

But one look, one dance, one kiss changed my mind

I think I met one day last night

One day later, I've got it bad and I know it

There's one thing on my mind right now and it's her

'Cause one day I see me and that girl holdin'

Hands on a flight, honeymoon, that's right

Just took one night, my one-day looks like

Brown eyes, brown hair, plaid skirt, tall boots

Skinny margarita in a dive bar, booth

Sounds like, "Oh my God, I love this song"

Got me like, "I do too"

Yeah, one day was way down the line

I was really gonna take my time

But one look, one dance, one kiss changed my mind

I think I met one day last night, mm-mm

I think I met one day last night

Ooh, and it wasn't really ever somethin' I thought I would do

But then again I never knew

My one day looked like

Brown eyes, brown hair, plaid skirt, tall boots

Skinny margarita in a dive bar, booth

Sounds like, "Oh my God, I love this song"

Got me like, "I do too"

Yeah, one day was way down the line

I was really gonna take my time

But one look, one dance, one kiss changed my mind

I think I met one day last night, mm-mm

I think I met one day last night

(Brown eyes, brown hair, plaid skirt, tall boots)

(Skinny margarita in a dive bar, booth)

(Sounds like, "Oh my God, I love this song")
