Not Bad

I used to read about it in movie magazines

People drinkin' champagne and ridin' limousines

Shoppin' at the finest stores, fancy restaurants

Diamond rings and everything that one could ever want

Not bad (Not bad)

I used to say to myself

Not bad (Not bad)

They've done alright for themselves

Livin' high and bein' free in the land of opportunity

Not bad (Not bad)

I used to think how lucky those people really were

Back when I was just a kid and people still wore fur

I used to fantasize that I could even be a star

With money, clothes, a penthouse suite and my own fancy car

Not bad (Not bad)

Hey, look at me, I made it

Not bad (Not bad)

I got my own pink Mercedes

For a little country girl like me enjoyin' such prosperity

Not bad (Not bad)

Ah, not bad (Not bad)

It ain't bad, it ain't bad, it ain't bad

Sometimes I look around me, I can't believe it's true

To think of where I came from and where I've gotten to

Not bad (It ain't bad, it ain't bad)

From rags to riches

Not bad (Bad)

Got a little money in my britches

To do the things you wanna do and

It's good to know dreams do come true

Not bad (It ain't bad)

Not bad (Not bad)

If I do say so myself

Not bad (Not bad)

I've got a couple trophies on my shelf

Not bad (Not bad)

But I'm rollin' in sweet clover

Not bad (Not bad)

Well, my cup runneth over

Livin' high and bein' free in the land of opportunity

Not bad (It ain't bad)

To do the things you wanna do and it's

Good to know dreams do come true (They do)

Not bad (Bad)
