Little Maggie

Thank you so much, that's so great of you

Uh, wanna do, so another friend of mine who's been up here with us

Uh, he's been running around with us now

About 11 years in the studio and on the road

And you may know him from other groups like The Stooges or so

But we know him as Duckhead

And he's over here playing a bunch of instruments

And working real hard

Mr. Scott Thurston, let's hear from Scott over here

He's doing a great job over here

And this is the song, uh

That he taught me and uh, and he was singing the song down to me

I said "Scott you have a voice that needs to be shared with the world"

So, we're gonna let Scott sing lead on this song

So, get my big hand and make him feel really good

This is

This is Little Maggie

Oh, yonder stands little Maggie

With a dram glass in her hand (that's right)

She drinkin' away sorrow

And a-courtin' another man (yeah!)

Pretty flowers were made for bloomin'

Pretty stars were made to shine

Pretty women were made for lovin'

Pretty Maggie was made for mine (oh, mine!)

Lay down your last gold dollar

Lay down your watch and chain

Little Maggie's gonna dance for daddy

Listen to that man ol' and ring (hands up!)

Oh, we go away, little Maggie

Go and do the best you can

I'll find another woman

Go and find you another man
