Favorite Time of the Year

I grew up in a small house

Just me and my mom

The poorest kid in the school

But got whatever I want

She worked all day and all night

To make the holiday

Shalalalalala, shine

So Christmas is my favorite time of the year

It seems like everyone's got a little more cheer

Maybe it's the lights that brighten the atmosphere

'Cause Christmastime is finally here

Yeah, yeah, yeah

My favorite time of the year

I like the trees and the snow

And I don't mind the gifts

I can't lie I like the music

Even though I'm Jewish

These days are sharp for my mom

I get a jolly to

Falalalalala low

So Christmas is my favorite time of the year

It seems like everyone's got a little more cheer

Maybe it's the lights that brighten the atmosphere

'Cause Christmastime is finally here

Yeah, yeah, yeah

My favorite time of the year

My favorite time of the year

Huh, now I don't care who you are or where you're from

But you can't deny

That when you see your town all decorated in lights

Now that's a good time!

So Christmas is my favorite time of the year

It seems like everyone's got a little more cheer

Maybe it's the lights that brighten the atmosphere

'Cause Christmastime is finally here

Yeah, yeah, yeah

My favorite time of the year

Yeah, yeah, yeah

My favorite time of the year
