Imitation Medley

Wop-bop-ba-loo-bop, a-lop-bam-boom

Tutti frutti, oh, rooty

Tutti frutti, oh, rooty

Tutti frutti, oh, rooty

Tutti frutti, oh, rooty

Tutti frutti, oh, rooty

A-wop-bop-ba-loo-bop, a-lop-bam-boom

Thank you very much

So I write my own version

Fellas, key of D, for "derivative"

Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo, zop-bop-bop

Pretty Betty, I'm ready

Pretty Betty, I'm ready

Pretty Betty, I'm ready

Pretty Betty, I'm ready

Pretty Betty, I'm ready

Oh, ready to go steady with you![SIRENS]

Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo, steady with you

I got a girl named Ann and one named Sue

But they can't do what pretty Betty can do

I sound more like Elvis than Elvis, but the song doesn't chart

So, oh, God

Kirsh

and I hit the country trail, blazed by Vaughn Monroe with "Riders in the Sky"

Hee-haw

An old cowboy went riding out onе dark and windy day

Hee-haw

Upon a ridge he restеd as he went along his way (

Ooh, ah

)

Okay, brace yourselves[BOBBY]

There is a mermaid in the sea, her eyes are dark as blue

Ooh

And sailors say they only see her when a storm is due

She stretches out her loving arms and looks so innocent

But the men who meet her never live a minute to repent

Ooh

Believe it or not, I can sync lower

Fats Domino's got a big, fat hit with "Ain't That a Shame," every singer is covering it

Including me, I'm big now!

You made me cry

When you said goodbye

Ain't that a shame?

My tears fell like rain

Ain't that a shame?

You're the one to blame[CONNIE, spoken]

Great song, you gonna record it?

Nah, why sing a great song when I can sing...

Well, you heard me so

When you said you'd go

Don't call my name

That song's a shame

Things ain't the same

It sounds the same

And if you call my name

It's fuckin' lame

You'd be calling insane

Shame...

I bring my low Fats rip-off over to the biggest radio DJ in New York: Murray the K

Well, I believe your lies

But now I'm wise

Don't call my na—

It's not a flop, but it's not a hit

More like a tweener

They keep having me copy all these other singers, how am I supposed to find my own sound?

Mother had another one of her brilliant ideas in the tub

A song title, "Splish Splash, Take a Bath"

And 15 minutes later...
