Drinkin' And Dancin'

Man, we were sittin' around tryin' to write a song

We really couldn't come up with anything

And I needed a new summer song

So, I just started singin'

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

We got the ice chest loaded down with beer

We got the girls comin' from everywhere

We got the speakers amped up, up on the stage

Anything that feels good is what we're gonna play

And we'll be drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summer

Tonight's gonna be one of those nights to remember

So, let's live it up 'cause it'll be cold in December

So, we're drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

This backyard's gonna turn into a nightclub

Under the stars, everybody's gonna get lit up

That girl's got next to nothin' on and that's alright

'Cause those American girls look so fine

When they're drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summer

Tonight's gonna be one of those nights to remember

So, let's live it up 'cause it'll be cold in December

So, we're drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Get down, girl, get on down

Show me what you got

Get down, girl, get on down

Damn, it's gettin' hot

So, let's get drinkin'

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summer

Tonight's gonna be one of those nights to remember

So, let's live it up 'cause it'll be cold in December

So, we're drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Drinkin' and dancin' in the heat of the summertime

Yeah-yeah

Get down, girl
