Drinkin' Hours

Hey

Woo!

Been watchin' that clock tick-tock all day

Sittin' here waitin' on five

It's Friday night, we got a job to do

So don't let me down tonight

Y'all meet me at the bar

At a quarter past dark

You can put the first round on me

Well, my friends, I'm 'bout to fill you in

We got a brand new policy, yeah

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

Round here we ain't got no boss

Part-time and overtimers

'Bout to raise a little hell when we twist one off

This is in effect for the rest of the night

Gonna last till the light of day

That goes for the locals and the out-of-towners

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

It's just another night at the office, baby

So look at it kinda like this

We don't work, we just drink together

It's a business relationship

With us all here

And that workin' with beer

It might get dangerous

So if you're too drunk to climb that ladder

Hey man, that's fine with us (Come on, yeah!)

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

Round here we ain't got no boss

Part-time and overtimers

'Bout to raise a little hell when we twist one off

This is in effect for the rest of the night

Gonna last till the light of day

That goes for the locals and the out-of-towners

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours (No, not 'round here)

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

'Round here that's how it goes

Just a bunch of every day nine-to-fiver's

Turned into weekend CEOs

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

Round here we ain't got no boss

Part-time and overtimers

'Bout to raise a little hell when we twist one off

This is in effect for the rest of the night

Gonna last till the light of day

That goes for the locals and the out-of-towners

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

Oh, that the only rule we got, man

No workin' durin' drinkin' hours

Cheers!
