Woke up sideways on the carpet floor

Bones felt borrowed, not mine anymore

Blinds twitched like they'd seen too much

Morning light with that slight medicated touch

There's a billboard smiling way too wide

And an insurance lady with her teeth all white

I bet she knows just what's past this dead-end sky

But she's keeping that secret oh so bone dry

And the coffee tasted like burnt-out dreams

Dust floated down on it's golden beams

And little universes they don't seem to care

About all my plans sitting on my folding chair

Waiting for the bleach to comе

And set my mind right

My house is filled with big ideas

And endless cigarettes

I communed with the mice last night
