Bar Named Jesus (ft. Thomas Rhett)

He had a picture of his daughter

On the background of his phone

Said he wishes he was with her

But he's splittin' weekends with her mom back home

Said he had it all but he messed it up and

He hadn't had a drink since then

He found a different way to fill his cup

And so I asked him where he found it

And he said

There's a bar named Jesus where the light stays on

And there's no such thing as too far gone

Where the well ain't whiskey and it don't run dry

And there's always room for one more inside

Yeah, I was sittin' rock bottom

I was goin' through hell 'til I found myself at a bar named Jesus

Ooh, yeah (bar named Jesus)

All the anger he was holdin'

He wasn't holdin' anymore

He said he finally forgave himself

'Cause he never could before

And don't get me wrong, it ain't always easy

And the hard days, they still come

Only difference is that when they do, now I got a better place to run

There's a bar named Jesus where the light stays on

And there's no such thing as too far gone (too far gone)

Where the well ain't whiskey and it don't run dry

And there's always room for one more inside

Yeah, I was sittin' rock bottom

I was goin' through hell 'til I found myself at a bar named Jesus, aw, yeah

At a bar named Jesus, yeah

Oh, oh, oh, there's a bar named Jesus

Oh, oh, oh (there's a bar named Jesus), bar named Jesus

Oh, oh, oh, there's a bar named Jesus (yes, there is)

Oh, oh, oh (oh, you know that there is)

There's a bar named Jesus where the light stays on

And there's no such thing as too far gone

Where the well ain't whiskey and it don't run dry

And there's always room for one more inside
