Come And See About Me

Come on, Lord, come on and see about me

'Cause I'm way down here by myself, Lord

Come on and see about me

Well my mother have gone and left me

I'm in the world all alone

Come on, Lord, and see about me

Well my father, he have turned his back on me

His back on me

Come on, come on, Lord, see about me

Lord, I'm way down here in this sorry valley, Lord

On my knees, beggin' you, Lord, come on

Come on, Lord, see about me

A motherless child, my father have left me in the world alone

He turned his back on me, oh, yes he did

Mmm, mmm, I know you made me, you knows all about me

You made everybody, You knows all about, all about me, Lord

Come on, see about me

See about me

See about me

See about me

See about me

Oh, Lord

Mmmm, oh, Lord

Because I'm way down here

By my lonely self, oh, Lord

Take care, take care of your child

Mmmm
