I swear the gates of Heaven just opened up wide

When I sent up a prayer of child's premonition, 'cause

I've had time to bloom

I'll pour some holy water on the daughter of my own

I'll pass my name down 'fore it's on a headstone

It was so dramatic, beautiful but tragic
