Seek And You Shall Find

I used to ask my mother

Would I ever find true love?

She would tell me (

True love is hard to find

)

But I traveled on

And everyone I came upon

I stopped to ask and they would say

(True love is hard to find)

The years have passed

I'm still all alone

But no longer do I ask

I place my faith in five little words

From somewhere in the past

Those words were:

Seek and you shall find

There's no denying:

Seek and you shall find

Oh, sometimes I get so lonely

It seems useless to go on

But I know somewhere

True love is waiting there

So I keep holding on

Oh, I manage to struggle on

'Cause I know if I keep on trying

Oh, there's no denying, if you just

Seek and you shall find

There's no denying:

Seek and you shall findThere's no happy ending to this story

And I'm telling you:

Love still hopes you find

You must believe somewhere

True love is waiting there

Keep holding on

You gotta keep on keeping on

If you keep on, keep on trying

Oh, there's no denying, if you just

Seek and you shall find

Oh, it don't matter what you looking for

Seek and you shall find

Oh, it might be right around the corner

Seek and you shall find

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Seek and you shall find

You gotta find it one day, all you gotta do is

Seek and you shall find
