Rainy Day

That feeling that you got is weighing on your heart

The fear isn't here to stay

Go on and cry, it's leaving you

I don't mind holding on

Baby, we've been waiting on this rainy day

Wouldn't want to have it any other way

Doesn't really matter because I'm here to stay

And we're washing it away on the watercourse way

If darkness is a rock, maybe we are water

Day after day, we're washing it away

Let it go and float downstream

Ain't no use holding on

Baby, we've been waiting on this rainy day

Wouldn't want to have it any other way

Doesn't really matter because I'm here to stay

And we're washing it away on the watercourse way

And when we're riding high

Looking down at the ground

All our troubles seem so small

When the wind starts rising

We'll just ease on down

Don't need to be afraid to fall

Baby, we've been waiting on this rainy day

Wouldn't want to have it any other way

Doesn't really matter because I'm here to stay

And we're washing it away on the watercourse way

Oh, yeah

Baby, we've been waiting on this rainy day (this day)

Wouldn't want to have it any other way (have it another way)

Doesn't really matter because I'm here to stay

Wouldn't want to have it any other way (I put it upon the help)

Baby, we've been waiting on this rainy day (oh, on this day)

Wouldn't want to have it any other way (oh, no other way)

Doesn't really matter because I'm here to stay

And we're washing it away on the watercourse way
