Hymn of the Birds

You loved you loved to fly

Up above the clouds up high oh

Reaching for the best

Without a stop without a rest

Feeling the wind past by

You flew high and high

To the bright blue sky

The birds sing to you now

This is the hymn

Hymn of the birds

Oh fly with me

Oh high and high

Oh fly with me

Oh again

You loved you loved to fly

How much you wanted to be high

Too close to the sun

Burnt the wings and fell down

The birds sing to you now

This is the hymn

Hymn of the birds

Oh fly with me

Oh high and high

Oh fly with me

Oh oh oh

Spread your wings and fly within

Look at the king your heart contains

And then we will sing to you

This is the hymn of the birds

Oh fly with me

Oh high and high

Oh fly with me

Oh again
