Raise The Bar

A cold beer is what we came in here for

One or two or maybe more

I guess we were gettin' just a little too loud

For this wine and cheese crowd

They stare like we were from outer space

"Don't care," was written all over our face

Now we're on a mission

We don't need permission

We're here to raise the bar

Give the place some working class

Drink a toast and raise our glass

To the ones you know who'd go over the top

And then take it up a notch

We're wearing our names on the front of our shirts

Stained with a little blue-collar dirt

These holes in the soles of our boots, they ain't who we are

Yeah, we're here to raise the bar

At first, they didn't say too much

They really didn't know what to think of us

So we broke out in an old drinkin' song

Before you knew it, they were singin' along

We're here to raise the bar

Give the place some working class

Drink a toast and raise our glass

To the ones you know who'd go over the top

And then take it up a notch

We're wearing our names on the front of our shirts

Stained with a little blue-collar dirt

These holes in the soles of our boots, they ain't who we are

Yeah, we're here to raise the bar

Pour another round of shots

Pour until we're dancing on the table tops

Pour 'til they get last call

'Cause after all

We're here to raise the bar

And give the place some working class

Drink a toast and raise our glass

To the ones you know who'd go over the top

And then take it up a notch

We're wearing our names on the front of our shirts

Stained with a little blue-collar dirt

These holes in the soles of our boots, they ain't who we are

Yeah, you might think that we're taking this a little too far

But we're here to raise the bar

(Yeah, we're here to raise the bar)
