Life’s Been Comin’ Too Fast

Yep

Woo

Yeah, I always said, "You can sleep when you're dead"

Keep the pedal to the metal and the needle in the red

Bouncin' off the brick walls, swingin' at the curveballs

But lately I'm just tryin' to get out of the way 'cause

Life's been, life's been, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast

I need to take it down a gear, have an ice-cold beer, yeah, maybe a whole six-pack

I need a long weekender with a pretty bartender and a blender full of laid on back

Get out of the spin my life's in, life's been comin' just a little too fast

A little too fast

I need to kick the Red Bull, keep the ice cooler full

Keep the limes in the bottle, kickin' back by the pool

I need a grass-skirted lady playin' ukulele

That's the kind of dream I've been dreamin' 'cause lately

Life's been, life's been, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast

I need to take it down a gear, have an ice-cold beer, hell, maybe a whole 12-pack

I need a long weekender with a pretty bartender helpin' it to blow on past

With a few of my friends, yeah, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast

Some things we all gotta get through

'Til it's goin', goin', gone in the big rearview

Oh, yeah

Yeah, life's been, life's been, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast

I need to take it down a gear, have an ice-cold beer, get faced on a whole case of that

I need a long weekender with a pretty bartender and a blender full of something that'll kick my ass

Get out of the spin my life's in, life's been comin' just a little too fast

I'll say it again, buddy, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast

Can I get an amen to that?

Yeah, life's been, life's been, life's been, life's been comin' just a little too fast
