Scared of looking at the bottom,

Imposter syndrome

Self-inflicted retribution, vicious cycles

I used to think that the roads always split in two paths

The good and bad… But now I know that one is both

And one’s dead end with a view of what you should have,

I pride myself on my humility, a good man

A message to my future self, I wish you would brag

Rather these lows to build myself back up to good standing

Than get too high and feel the shock of what I built crash,

Should tuck my pride and be more gracious with my pops now,
