Serve Me Right to Suffer - Live

I'd like to tell you the title of this number that I'm going to do, that I've written. It makes a lot of sense, it tells a tremendous story. The name of it is "Serves Me Right to Suffer, it Serves Me Right to Be Alone." So take a listen to it:

It serves me right to suffer

Serves me right to be alone

It serves me right to suffer, suffer

Serves me right to be alone, be alone, be alone

Because the life I'm livin'

I'm livin' in memories gone by

Now watch this:

Every time I see another woman

She makes me think of mine, think of mine

Mmm

She makes me think of mine, think of mine

And that's why, when I see another woman

Folks, I just can't, keep from cryin', keep from cryin'

It serves me right to suffer

Serves me right to be alone

Mmm

Serves me right to be alone

Because I'm tryin' to live my life

In the days of memories gone by[Spoken]

Now I want you to pick up on this. You know these lyrics are somethin' else. Let's dig this

My doctor put me on

Milk, cream, and alcohol, alcohol

My doctor wrote me a description

For milk, cream, and alcohol

My nerves are so bad

I couldn't rest, I couldn't sleep at all at night

That's why he placed me on

Milk, cream, and alcohol

He placed me on

Milk, cream, and alcohol

To ease my nerves

I could lay down and rest at night

Mmm

Milk, cream, and alcohol
