Don't Shy Away

It's col upon the mountain

The birds are flying high overhead

And i've got to cross the valley

The life i had befor it is dead

And now I'm walking the tightrope

The tightrope i've lined

I walk in the blazing sun

It's waiting before me

This runaway bride

I've got to keep moving on

Are you praying for the sunset?

Are you begging for the dying light?

I never long like they do right now

You're the only further star of night

Don't shy away, shy away, love

Don't shy away, shy away my love

Remember all that we dared to dream

Wait for me at the end of summer

A man on the horizon

He offers me the future i crave

And there's no safety net beneath me

I'll risk it all for him and be brave

And now I'm walking the tightrope

The tightrope i've lined

I walk in the blazing sun

It's waiting before me

Ihis runaway bride

I've got to keep moving on

Are you praying for the sunset?

Are you begging for the dying light?

I never long like they do right now

You're the only further star of night

Don't shy away, shy away, love

Don't shy away, shy away my love

Remember all that we dared to dream

Wait for me at the end of summer

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Won't look back again

Don't shy away, shy away, love

Don't shy away, shy away my love

Remember all that we dared to dream

Wait for me at the end of summer.
