Let's Do It

Birds do it, bees do it

Even educated fleas do it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

In Spain, the best upper sets do it

Lithuanians and Letts do it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

The Dutch in old Amsterdam, they do it

Not to mention the Finns

Folks in Siam do it, think of Siamese twins

Some Argentines without means do it

People say in Boston, even beans do it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

The dragonflies in the reeds do it

Sentimental centipedes do it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

Mosquitoes, heaven forbid, they do it

So does every katydid, they do it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

The most refined ladybug do it

When a gentleman calls

Moths in your rug, they do it

What's the use of moth balls? That's why

My friends, the Chinese, they do it

And over in Japan, when I was over there, they did it

Up in Lapland, even Laps did it

So let's do it, let's fall in love

You know, wouldn't it have been great if

If everybody did it?
