Lost My Friend

(Yo, Ayo)

Bottled so much in 'cause you threw that shit back in my face

Knew I lost my friend when you kept doin' shit you knew I hate

Feelin' trapped again when I thought I found a new escape

But I'm still built to win, it's like I'm too in shape

Me and you was somethin' I believed in, then I start losin' faith

Phone steady ringin', how many wake-up calls do it take?

We can call it even, I made more than a few mistakes

When it's repeated, you should know that your excuses fake

I had been lost hope on our chances of gettin' back together

Wanted this vibe forever, you know them guys weren't better

Find out your bitch fuckin', make you sick to your stomach

Whatever mines, don't want nobody touchin', uh

Shit drove me crazy 'til I finally put my feelings in park

Came time to elevate my life, you couldn't fit in this part

Contemplatin' as I sit in the dark

One situation that I never pictured gettin' this hard

Like what the fuck you cryin' for?

Tired of all of your explanations, now your time up

'Cause you couldn't make your mind up

I'ma set you free, I hope you find love

Or better yet, found love

Now for the tenth time, you startin' over, tryna find out

Why you play games with me, girl, knowin' you exactly what I need?

They used to be your shoulder, that's where I could always lean

Now I'm drownin' in double cups of codeine, tryna mask pain

Turned me to a fiend, arguments, you made a scene

Think you don't know what insecure or controllin' really mean

When I peep you ain't on your shit, bitch, I'm supposed to intervene

Accountability and truth, you hate indulgin' in them things

I stay, and I enable you, and you won't grow until I leave, uh
