A Pessimist Is Never Disappointed

It's unfashionable, I guess,

To knock success,

It's magnified and blessed,

Folk are so impressed,

This is uniformity,

Remember something please,

As we travel up the tree,

We show worse anatomy,

Yet we must be so charming when we're praised

Like kids when we are trashed, we come of age

It's crazy I think of you

I know that you're coming too

Hey sunshine! I'll never shake your pride

You're what I need,

You've been appointed

This is the highlight of your miserable life

A pessimist is never disappointed

Does anyone believe?

Am I judged or I achieve?

You'll know what I mean

By what I leave

Yet I must be so humble when I'm praised

Like I've reached the higher ground, I have come of age

It's crazy I think of you

I know that you're coming too

Hey sunshine! I'll never shake your pride

You're what I need,

You've been appointed

This is the highlight of your miserable life

A pessimist is never disappointed

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

It's a karaoke climate and we all sing the same fuckin' song

Hey sunshine! I'll never shake your pride

You're what I need,

You've been anointed

This is the highlight of your miserable life

A pessimist is never disappointed

Yeah a pessimist is never disappointed

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
