Whenever God Shines His Light (Alternative Take)

Whenever God

Shines his light on me

He opens up my eyes so I can see

And when I look up

In the darkest night

I know everything will work alright

In deep confusion, in deep despair

When I reach out for him he will be there

When I am lonely as I can be

I know that God

Shine a light on me

Reach out for help, he'll be there

Depend your troubles you can share

Reach out for love when you're in need

He can take on

He heals the sick and heals the lame

He taught you can heal too in Christ's name

He'll lift you up to the higher ground

And he'll put your feet back right on
