The Journey - Demo

Every day, got the sun shinin' bright on me

'Cause that's the way that it's supposed to be

Every day I put my favorite song on

'Cause they know what I needed sung to me

I play them on repeat almost every single day

They sing me the blues, and it whisks me away

I hear it whistled in the window today

'Cause I don't know

Where this road will take me

But I'm up for the journey

Yeah, I'm up for the journey

Take me, take me

'Cause I don't know (la, la-la-la-da-da-da-da)

Where this road will take me (la, la-la-da-da-da)

But I'm up for the journey (la, la-la-da-da-da-da)

So tell me, are you with me?

Are you up for the journey?

Never know what's in the cards for you

You never know what you're supposed to do

Put on my favorite record, let it push the world away

I save my worries for another day

I like a simple song with a simple melody

There is no right or wrong, so just let it be

'Cause it'll all work out, you'll see

'Cause I don't know (la, la-la-la-da-da-da-da)

Where this road will take me (this road will take me) (la, la-da-da-da)

But I'm up for the journey (the journey) (la, la-la-da-da-da-da)

Yeah, I'm up for the journey (the journey)

Take me, take me

'Cause I don't know

Yeah, I don't know (la, la-la-la-da-da-da-da)

Where this road will take me

This road will take me (la, la-la-da-da-da)

But I'm up for the journey (the journey, la, la-la-da-da-da-da)

So tell me, are you with me?

Are you up for the journey?

Let it all come, let it come your way

Let the outcome be a calming wave

'Cause I don't know (la, la-la-la-da-da-da-da)

Where this road will take me (where it'll take me) (la-la-la-da-da-da)

But I'm up for the journey (the journey) (la, la-la-da-da-da-da)

Yeah, I'm up for the journey (the journey)

Take me, take me

'Cause I don't know (la, la-la-la-da-da-da-da)

Where this road will take me

(This road will take me, la, la-la-da-da-da)

But I'm up for the journey

(I'm up for the journey, la, la-la-da-da-da-da)

So tell me, are you with me?

Are you up for the journey?
