It's Got To Be Funky

When I write my music I search for melody

Well the next step I take is finding the harmony

I'm in search of a song that gets you out on the dancing floor

So there's one element I simply cannot ignore

It's got to be funky everytime

Yes, it's got to be funky everytime

It's got to have rhythm and a rhyme

And, it's got to be funky everytime

I'm thrilled and delighted each time I write a tune

I'm so so excited want you to hear it soon

I'm in search of a song that gets you out on the dancing floor

So there's one element I simply cannot ignore

It's got to be funky everytime

Yes, it's got to be funky everytime

It's got to have rhythm and a rhyme

And, it's got to be funky everytime
