There's a Reason We Call it Christmas

Children wake up early

And gather around the tree

To celebrate this moment

With friends and family

Seasons change

Months come and go

In the summer the sun is shining

In the winter there's ice and snow

There's a reason for this change

Christ was born this blessed day

He came on an eastern star

And He loves us for who we are

There's a reason why we call it Christmas

There's a reason why we call it Christmas

Christmas is the time

It's a very special day

For reaching out to loved ones

Instead of going our own way

There's a reason for this change

Christ was born this blessed day

He came on an eastern star

And He loves us for who we are

There's a reason why we call it Christmas

There's a reason why we call it Christmas

There's a reason why we call it Christmas
