Southern Man - Acoustic

Well, I've hopped a train, I've rode a plane

I've been all around this land

It may sound strange, but I've never changed

A single bit of who I am

Been called a rambler and a gambler

I'm even known for writin' songs

I've been up and down, been lost and found

But the one thing I've been all along

Is a Southern man

Born to lose but the blues made me a guitar man

Scratchin' out a livin' in a honky-tonk with a five-piece band

No matter where I am

I'm a Southern man

Well, I don't get shook by the dirty looks

I get when I open my mouth

'Cause I'm a slow talkin', proud walkin'

Bonafide simple son of the South

Been with high class, champagne glass

Women all around this world

But I was born a sucker for

Red clay, little country girl

I'm a Southern man

Born to lose but the blues made me a guitar man

Scratchin' out a livin' in a honky-tonk with a five-piece band

No matter where I am, I'm your Southern man

Ah, yeah

Oh, yeah

Woo-hoo, hoo

I'm a Southern man

Born to lose but the blues made me a guitar man

Just scratchin' out a livin' in a honky-tonk with a five-piece band

No matter where I am

I wear the brand of a Southern man

And this Southern man, this Southern man

No, this Southern man
