Christmas Lights

Glistening off the fallen snow

Blinking on a reindeer's nose

Frosty waving at the cars

Angels dancing in the yards

Wrapped around the Christmas trees

Glowing, flashing magically

Sparkling in the children's eyes

What would Christmas be without Christmas lights?

Red and yellow, blue and green

Softly glowing, glistening

Warming everybody's hearts with love

Blinking as if keeping time

To children singing Silent Night

Don't you just love Christmas lights?

Under eaves, around window frames

Shaped like bells and candy canes

A baby's crib, a bed of straw

Rooftop sleighs and Santa Claus

Red and yellow, blue and green

Softly glowing, glistening

Warming everybody's hearts with love

Blinking as if keeping time

To children singing Silent Night

Don't you just love Christmas lights?

It all started long ago

In Bethlehem, a night so cold

Three wise men looked up in the sky

A blessed miracle occurred

A brand new star began to burn

And on that night

We saw the first Christmas light

Don't you just love Christmas lights?
