Soon as I Get Home

Soon as I get home

Gonna walk the street of heaven

Gonna tell all my friends that's waiting me there

Soon as I get home

Gonna drink some crystal water

Gonna talk of all the times and the love we once shared

Soon, soon as I get home

Soon, soon as I get home

Let me say

Soon as I get home

Imma look back at the world

And see her for just what she really is

Soon as I get home

Gonna shout around her throne

And my god will wipe away all of my tears

Soon, soon as I get home

Soon, soon as I get home

I'm gonna

Soon as I get home

Gonna walk the street of heaven

Gonna tell all my friends that's waiting me there, wellSoon as I get home

Gonna shout around her throne

My god will wipe away all of my tears

Soon, soon as I get home

I'll talk with my mother

Soon, soon as I get home

Gonna talk with my father, yeah yeah

Soon, soon as I get home

I wanna talk with my friends, yeah

Soon, soon as I get home

On my way home

And when I get there, I wanna sit down

I wanna sit down and rest a while, rest a while

Oh joy, my heart bound by the gentle river

My heart by the river

You wanna sit down and rest a while, yeah yeah

Sit down and rest a while

Soon as I get home

I'm gonna take off my, take off these old travellin' shoes, yeah
