Donkey

Uh!

Ha!

Uh!

Ooh!

I'm tired of people talking to me

With never nothin' good to say

Trying to navigate my direction

When themselves don't know the way

Hey, hey

It's hard enough now to survive

So go somewhere else and spread your lies

And while you're going, take this with you

Keep your head in the good book, yeah

If you wanna know the truth

God made everybody mountains

Then he made you a mountain too, hey, hey

So when you come around shoveling dirt

Just remember, you got a little dirt on you

Hey, hey, hey, ooh, ooh

Hey, ooh, ooh

There are some people in the city

Who try their best to keep you down, yeah

But keep the ladder of your faith upright

For it will lead to higher ground, oh, yes, it will

It's hard enough now to survive

The last thing you need is another surprise

Someone you trusted not to be true

Just waiting on a chance, yeah

To pin the tail on you

God made everybody donkeys

Then he made them a donkey too, yeah

So when they come around pinning tails

Move aside, let the donkey through, yeah

Hey, hey, ooh, ooh

Oh, ooh, ooh

Oh, ooh, ooh

Hey, ooh, ooh

Just keep on living
