How Blue Can You Get? - Live At The BBC, Fairfield Hall / 1998

I don't wanna wear you out

Are you tired

Is anybody snoring

Few years ago they had a movie out called the blues brothers

Sure most of you heard or probably seen it

They didn't have me in it

But they have a new one that schedule to be released sometimes in February

Its called the blue brothers 2000

They do have me in it

They wont let me have my band though my band, in the picture

But I figure that if I get one foot in

May be next time I get them

But they were nice to me

They put a band together for me in the movie

Were we played against the blues brothers

In my band, guitar players Travis Twit, Bo Deadly, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughn

My singers were Coco Taylor, Luis Rawls, Isaac Haze, Eric Clapton

And we sing a song like this

I think they're ready, you ready

I've been down hearted baby

Ever since the day we met

I've been down hearted baby

Ever since the day we met

Our love is nothing but the blues

Baby, how blue can you get

You're evil when I'm with you

And you're jealous when we're apart

I said You're evil

You so evil when I'm with you, baby

And you're jealous when we're apart

How blue can you get baby

The answer is right here in my heart

I gave you a brand new Ford

But you said: "I want a Cadillac"

I bought you a ten dollar dinner

And you said: "thanks for the snack"

I let you live in my penthouse

You said it just a shack

I gave you seven children

And now you wanna give them back

I said I've been down hearted baby

Ever since the day we met

Our love is nothing but the blues

Baby, how blue can you get

Thank you
