Dear Rodeo (Intro) - Live

Are you still feeling good?

We've come down to the last song, of this set-list here tonight

One thing I have to say, before I get off this stage tonight

This part of the show, might not be for you, it might be just for me

I'm a start with saying this, I am not perfect

Nor do I claim to be, anything close to it

I'm also not a hypocrite, I'm not a preacher

But that does not mean, that I am not afraid

And no matter, how many problems I have

I'm still not afraid, to stand up here, and say

The only reason, that I've got my life, halfway together

Is because, of my lord and savior, Jesus Christ

Tonight, he's the only thing, that holds me up

How many of y'all, since 2020 have had like a

A kind of iffy attitude, about your life, alright?

The only thing, that got me through

Was his grace, and here's the deal

He gives us grace, faith is the favor, that we return

I have faith, that no matter how bad, my days go

No matter, how many times I screw up, the same screw ups

That as long as I go to him, and say

"Man, I messed up, help me out," that it's gonna be okay

I'm living proof, that it's gonna be okay

I asked you, if you were gonna give me

Crowd participation, 'til the very last minute

Well, then would you like to stand up for country music

On this live album and sing, "Dear Rodeo" with me tonight?

Alright, let's go
