Rather Be Here (feat. Jason Aldean)

There's a black sand beach somewhere in Hawaii

They say it's paradise and they know how to party

Got a Honolulu honey that's shakin' her hips

Bet it'd be a hell of a trip

There's a handful of hilltop spots in Denver

They take you so high that you won't remember

Everything you see on the 6 o'clock news

But tonight since I get to choose

I'd rather be here

Lookin' at the way she sun dressed it up

Little dixie buzz up in a plastic cup

Country band playin' to a wasted crowd

I done found some friends in low places now

Why the hell would I ever go somewhere else?

Feelin' fine on that bottom shelf

Sitting cool on a stool where the down home gather

On a Saturday night that's why

I'd rather be here

Oh, I'd rather be here

Just a side of the highway neon blinking

A cash only dive and they know what I'm drinking

Nothin' but a good time, good-lookin' girl

Lookin' like she might rock my world

I'd rather be here

Lookin' at the way she sun dressed it up

Little dixie buzz up in a plastic cup

Country band playin' to a wasted crowd

I done found some friends in low places now

Why the hell would I ever go somewhere else?

Feelin' fine on that bottom shelf

Sitting cool on a stool where the down-home gather

On a Saturday night that's why

I'd rather be here

Oh, I'd rather be here

Yeah, I'd rather be here

Ah, yeah

I'd rather be here

Lookin' at the way she sun dressed it up

Little dixie buzz up in a plastic cup

Country band playin' to a wasted crowd

I done found some friends in low places now

Why the hell would I ever go somewhere else?

Feelin' fine on that bottom shelf

Sittin' cool on a stool where the down-home gather

On a Saturday night that's why

I'd rather be here

Oh, I'd rather be here

Yeah, I'd rather be here, yeah

Ooh, yeah

I'd rather be here
