Santa Cruz

Lookin' back through the memories in my mind

Takes me back to a distant time

It was me and it was you

And love was still brand new

On a beach with all my friends

Led to a wild weekend

Love was in the air, stars were up in the sky

Fireworks was lit, burning up the Fourth of July

The breeze through our soul, champagne and rock 'n' roll

West coast dancin' with you

In Santa Cruz

Sent a postcard to a friend

Wishing summer would never end

With that rollercoaster high

Ain't it funny how time flies by

Love was in the air, stars were up in the sky

Fireworks was lit, burning up the Fourth of July

The breeze through our soul, champagne and rock 'n' roll

West coast dancin' with you

In Santa Cruz

Let the waves come crashin' in

'Cause I'm feelin' that again

Let the waves comes crashin' in

'Cause I'm feelin' that again

It was a top down freeway, California sunset

Kissin' on you's somethin' I'll never forget

The love was in the air, stars were up in the sky

Fireworks was lit, burning up the Fourth of July

The breeze through our soul, champagne and rock 'n' roll

West coast dancin' with you

In Santa Cruz

Let the waves come crashin' in

'Cause I'm feelin' that again

Let the waves comes crashin' in

'Cause I'm feelin' that again
