Who Was That

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

You see when I came in

Somebody ran out of my back door

Had his shoes in his pocket

Overcoat in his hand

Tell me baby

Who was that man

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

Well when I came in

Somebody ran out of my back door

Ashes in the ashtray

I don't even smoke

Footprint leading

To my back door

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

Well when I came in

Somebody ran out of my back door

When I went into the kitchen

Dirty dishes in the sink

Two wine glasses on the table

And I don't even drink

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

Well when I came in

Somebody ran out of my back door

When I went into the bedroom

I could tell something wasn't right

Bed was all tore up like you'd been in a

Little fight

I wanna know who

Tell me who was that while ago

Well when I came in

Somebody ran out of my back door

I wanna know who

Tell me what's going on

Tell me who

Tell me what's going on

I believe to my soul

Somebody been getting my love on

Tell me who

Who was that while ago

I wanna know who

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

Who was that

Who was that while ago

I wanna know baby

I want to know right now

Who was that while ago
