Back Door Scratchin'

Been howling and prowling

Sniffin' around your neighborhood

When I got to your door

Something was smelling good

I'll do anything just to get a taste

Nothing you can do to chase this dog away

Back door scratchin'

Again and again

Back door scratchin'

'Til you let me in

You got me all fired up

My tail is waggin'

Ain't gonna stop this back door scratchin'

Been waitin' so patient

Standin' out in the cold

Hungry for your love

No place else to go

You can throw me a bone, but I won't be satisfied

Honey, I'll be your best friend, just let me come inside

Back door scratchin'

Again and again

Back door scratchin'

'Til you let me in

You got me all fired up

My tail is waggin'

I ain't gonna ever stop back door scratchin'

Fox in the hen house

He ain't up to no good

A pack of wild coyotes

Out there in the woods

I might be astray, but I'm looking for a home

'Til you take me in, I won't leave you alone

Back door scratchin'

Again and again

Back door scratchin'

'Til you let me in

You got me all fired up

My tail is waggin'

I'm never gonna stop this back door scratchin'

This back door scratchin'
