Tiki Bar Is Open

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Thank God the tiki torch still shines

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Come on in and open up your mind

On a leave of absence

With no resemblance to reality

I felt like a rocket launched into the wild blue yonder

By the boys down at Kennedy

Checked into His Majesty's Court Hotel

Where the sign said, "Praise His name"

I was tired and alone, I didn't feel too well

But I don't think that he was to blame

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Thank God the tiki torch still shines

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Come on in and open up your mind

Full moon over

(Concert city, state)

Full moon in my mind

And my sun tan dream is still out of reach

And the strip malls are robbing me blind

Well his name was Captain Adam Troy

And he sailed the, "Kon-Tiki"

Now the captain's gone but he won't be forgotten

Nor his likes will we ever see

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Thank God the tiki torch still shines

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Come on in and open up your mind

Well a drink ain't no solution

But it can calm your fears

And if that tiki bar closes down tonight

Well I just might disappear

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Thank God the tiki torch still shines

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Come on in and open up your mind

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Thank God the tiki torch still shines

Thank God the tiki bar is open

Come on in and open up your mind
