I'm Gonna Lay Back With My Woman

One, two, three, four

My saddle's on the horse

But I ain't goin' nowhere

Ridin' days are over

The vultures in the air

The trails have been my brothers

And the devil, all in one

Gonna lay back with my woman

We're gonna have ourselves some fun

There's danger on the prairie

Rattlesnakes abound

Every little town you come to

Some fool wants to fight

They keep puttin' up them fences

Section off that country mile

Gonna lay back with my woman

Gonna take it easy for a while

If you see her arms are ready

Her kitchen's full of food

She's got a smile that's pretty, boy

She's tryin' to scream good news

Can't blame a guy for thinkin'

It'd be crazy to hit the trail

I'm gonna lay back with my woman

Put my horses up for sale

Shut up

What? Alright, alright

Yeah
